"Night, the beloved. Night, when words fade and things come alive. When the destructive analysis of day is done, and all that is truly important becomes whole and sound again. When man reassembles his fragmentary self and grows with the calm of a tree."
This quote was sent to me by the gooddog who inspires and sends quotes to keep us focused on the here and now...this particular one spoke VOLUMES to me, I LOVE the silence of the night, the reaching, yawning shadows of the trees highlighted by moonlight, the sounds of dew gently falling upon the field grasses that grow tall enough to reach my knees, the scurrying in the foliage of night creatures quite surprised by my presence; and yet on their nightly mission unknown to humans. Night when all is still and we have the opportunity to BE QUIET AND LISTEN AND KNOW>>>>
KNOW that we are not alone, that there is so much beauty in this world that often goes overlooked because televisions are on inside and people are not exposed to the beauty the darkness can hold amongst the woods and places far from the city where even the light pollution can not penetrate.
Oh get out and enjoy the beauty, notice the milkyway spilled ever so perfectly over your head, capture a glimpse of the north star, the constellations, the creatures of the night that meander about, the scent of a dampening soil beneath your feet and crispness of the scent of the woods! I just had to share this quote he sent me....it is VERY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
