Phases of the Moon and YOU!

Reference to the moon phases…and how humans aren’t so different after all!
Knowing there are 8 phases of the moon…think of that for a moment and how it could easily be compared to the “phases” of our moods behaviors or state of mental awareness or awakening!

New Moon
- This stage is completely dark, completely invisible, perhaps like our “visions, voices, feelings of touch”. This is where the "hidden" aspects of a disorder or condition lurk hiding behind a mask or secluding in order to get a sembelance of understanding before revealing any aspect of the psyche, thoughts, ideas, or even trusting our own perceptions.

Waxing Crescent- Resembles the coming into some realization of our condition and leaving the quiet reflective cationic like stage where awareness is on the verge yet not quite with clarity.

First Quarter Moon (most call this the Half Moon)- A beginning of partly understanding ourselves and our situations as they roll at us, a slight perception of what “phase” or state our bodies are in at the moment.

Waxing Gibbous- This is the growing awareness comparison. During this stage the more we learn how to read our signs the more we lead toward our extreme polarities. It becomes clearer and more and more revealing as it grows with vigor toward FULL BLOWN awareness or recognition of triggers or stages we are in.

Full Moon- Complete and total awareness, (not that we can do anything about it), openness, fully ourselves (our bp selves) and the revealing of all our faults, good points, and our mind revealing our own situations like an open book….speaking fast, moving quick, or laying in a field watching the fullness of the moon’s face and trying to figure out the universe in a sense.
A comparison to when we are fully aware of our mood stage or swing, our triggers and environmental effecting factors. Basically an analogy to FULL acceptance, awareness, or recognition of what will or will not help us, get us through the day, or if in stage of euphoria how to hold on to the bliss and beauty. This is the stage of educational awareness of the disorder in a sense; for with full face on we face the hurdles and blessings alike, affront us.
Waning Gibbous- The slow descent of coming down from the mania or depression gradually dissolving away the situation the full realization took us. With masks ready to be donned and headed toward the darker side of the moon’s phases, we once again begin the reclusive descent into a darker or more secluded area of our psyche.
Third Quarter or what most call Crescent- The right of the moon gets the light first, so this is kind of like seeing the OTHER side of our lives or our brains, or our situations where we hopefully realize it’s alright. Things seem ready to ease up on our minds a little…but as is it’s nature, not for long!

Waning Crescent- The last of the reflecting light: the closing descent into our minds of deep thought, headed to complete darkness, and confusion of our situations however sometimes leading to more internal awareness…either way inevitably leading ALL toward darkness where IF utilized correctly, we can reflect and think on our current phase…becoming Proactive in our approaches to situations and conditions and prepare ourselves for the complete and total eclipse of light yet finding comfort in the inky blackness.

THEN WE FIND OURSELVES BACK TO THE COMPLETE DARKNESS OF THE NEW MOON!!! To start the phases over and over again cycling through each 291/2 days! The journey is exhilarating and enlightening, don’t let it cast a shadow but enlighten!

Never forget as you view the moon's phase that all things are interrelated in some sense or another. And that what you CHOOSE to take and see from the natural process of the moon's phases can be revealing, disturbing, comforting, blissful or just awareness unknown.
But please do not forget to glance also at the twinkling, promising stars of places yet unknown of ideas yet created, of dreams yet to be fulfilled. The ever spark like light generating from the stars above should serve as a beacon of rememberance that we are all a part of the whole, we are all given a light to face...we must simply turn our eyes, heart, and mind toward its comforting warmth!
