Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy?meditate on these things.
This is a wonderful reminder to keep thinking and contemplating on the blessings and good things in life and to create a time to contemplate on these.
As bipolar can ravage the minds, tear up one's self confidence, create havoc in an otherwise stable mind, and send one near the precipe of rogue or uncommon behavior: along with send one reeling from the throws of depression to the ravages of mania creating dissention between those who love, care, (and at times often PRETEND to care)about us; tearing relationships into shreds that often need reassembled over and over again like a puzzle thrown upon the floor:
IT IS VITAL that we contemplate on the positive, internalize the knowing of oneself....literally knowing WHO AM I? It is vital that we realize that we are no less than any other human, focusing on our assets to this world, our ever reaching hand to those in need, along with the fullness of the compassion and creativity and LOVE that bipolars so often are misconstrued to be lacking.
Let your light SHINE, let your creativity abound, and remember you are NOT a condition but a HUMAN BEING with a soul not unlike those NOT touched by the lightning within.
Stay strong my fellow BP's and know that TOGETHER we can shed the truth, the noble, the good, the lovely and praise the virtue of our paths.
